A couple weeks ago I attended the Swagelok Induction Program in Solon, OH. This program introduced new associates to the Swagelok values, manufacturing process, and distribution model. After our group had lunch with our CEO, Art Anton, I was reminded how our values begin with customer focus at the top. Each associate is encouraged to develop a commitment statement and I’d like to share mine with you now:
I am committed to understanding our customer’s needs, working with them to develop solutions, and improving their experience of doing business with us. I will uphold my commitment by listening intently to our customers, viscerally understanding how our products work and perform in a customer’s application, and delivering exemplary customer service with follow up and follow through.
